PPTOS Maker's Guide

Hey, viewers! Today I will give you a couple of tips and tricks for making PPTOSs, like JCOS.

1. When it comes to font, use a light font WITHOUT GRADIENTS OR SPECIAL TEXT EFFECTS. (shadow/format is fine, but nothing like rainbow)
2. When it comes to making barriers between elements on the PPT, make sure to use 1pt-to-1/4pt lines. This can really help.
3. Make sure to use correct spelling and grammar AT ALL TIMES. You want to make your OS look as professional as possible.
4. When it comes to design of the UI, decide between 2 choices from two different categories: flat or layered, and multicolored or monochromatic with different shades (such as pink, red, and mahogany/dark red)
5. With photos and GUI elements, make sure that they are completely transparent on the edges. If there is whitespace on the edges (for instance, a non-transparent image of a circle in a square border), it ruins the whole element.
6. When using animations, make sure there is little or zero fading at the edges, unless it is intentional.
7. Make sure to make your PowerPoint screen size 16:9 as this allows full screen PPTOSs without any black borders around the sides.
8. DON'T enable arrow keys to move about the PPT. That completely ruins the point of it being an OS, and it allows cheating in games. To disable them, put your PowerPoint in kiosk mode.
