First off: What the heck is MuseScore?
MuseScore is an application that can be used for an incredible amount of things, ranging from finding out how an instrument sounds to creating large symphonic pieces. This is one of my favorite tools, and it is INCREDIBLY useful, especially for people who don't own the actual instrument, or people who aren't as good at it (or maybe you just want to do it without error for free)
I use this program every day, and I will share a couple pieces of mine, Double Reed Rendezvous and How to Sax.
The first one I had listed was one I had made when I was a beginner with the program. It consists of Oboe, English Horn, Bassoon (of course, I had to add it) and Contrabassoon. It is a light melody, not unlike a waltz. Unfortunately, no percussion, and a simple melody. Overall, not very good.
The next one, in my opinion, is better. It consists of alto, tenor, and baritone saxes as well as a violone and a drum kit. It has a deeper melody, much more bass, and a generally dark feel. There is plenty of percussion, and like I said, a deeper melody.
